The opening ceremony was presided over by Zhang Xincan, Marketing Director of Nantong Youlian, and Liu Daolin, Director of the Examination Center of Jiangsu Special Equipment Safety Supervision and Inspection Research Institute, put forward the development direction and placed higher expectations on the training of talents and the application of new technologies in the non-destructive testing industry. General Manager Guo Zhenxiang of Nantong Youlian delivered a welcome speech to the trainees, and communicated with trainees on the development prospects and applications of phased arrays, which kicked off the phased array training class.

In the technical discussion session of this training, Fan Xiangxiang and Cao Haijun from Nantong Youlian Phased Array Technology Group respectively explained the principles of phased array ultrasonic testing and various standards at home and abroad, and compared phased array testing with TOFD. The test is compared and explained in simple language, so that students can fully understand and feel the technical characteristics of ultrasonic phased array.

In the practical operation, the phased array application team of Youlian demonstrated and explained the phased array operation process of flat butt weld and small diameter pipe girth weld for the students. The students are all enthusiastic and full of attention. Afterwards, the Youlian phased array application team shared with the students the field application examples of ultrasonic phased array in various fields such as fillet welds and polyethylene PE pipes. The trainees said that through this training, they have gained a more comprehensive understanding of ultrasonic phased array technology and benefited a lot, and looked forward to better application of ultrasonic phased array technology to everyone's inspection work in the future.
