The phased array ultrasonic automatic detection system for PE pipes is customized according to the diameter of HDPE pipes produced by the user's production line. It is suitable for online full coverage defect detection, wall thickness measurement, diameter measurement, thickness deviation value, roundness calculation, etc. of HDPE pipes in the range of φ 225-2000mm. Our company has delivered the model:
● PAUT-450PE, equipped with dual 128 phased array probes, suitable for HDPE production lines with a diameter of 200-450mm;
● PAUT-1200PE, with a modular design, is suitable for HDPE production lines with diameters of 500-800mm and 800-1200mm;
● PAUT-2000PE adopts a segmented design and is suitable for HDPE production lines with diameters of 1400-1600mm and 1600-2000mm.
Main functions:
● Scope of application: φ 225-2000mm, customized according to the diameter of HDPE pipes produced by the production line;
● Defect inspection: detect internal defects in PE pipes, with 100% full volume coverage, axial repeated coverage not less than 10mm, and circumferential repeated coverage not less than 50mm;
● Wall thickness measurement: Real time display of the maximum, minimum, average, and thickness deviation values of each circle's wall thickness;
● Diameter measurement: using dynamic sensors to accurately measure the outer diameter, inner diameter, and out of roundness of HDPE pipes;
● Equipped with coupling monitoring function, fixed position bottom wave amplitude monitoring function, to determine changes in online flaw detection sensitivity;
● Equipped with A-scan, B-scan, C-scan, and D-scan imaging, displaying real-time flaw detection data and locations;
● It has a length direction recording function, which displays real-time trends of HDPE pipe wall thickness changes, diameter changes, and out of roundness changes;
● The system is equipped with 2 sets of 32/128 phased array modules. Depending on the extrusion speed of the production line, 64 element probes and 128 element probes can be ● ● selected to meet 100% inspection coverage;
● Flaw detection process storage and calling function, one click changeover;
● Automatic sound and light alarm function;
● The length of the flaw detection data record can be adjusted arbitrarily, with a maximum support of 25m/file and a record length of no less than 10000 meters;
● The probe is designed with automatic follow-up for fitting, always maintaining good fitting pressure to ensure stable and reliable coupling effect, avoiding the influence of HDPE pipe roundness on probe coupling;
● Coupled with water circulation filtration for use;
● The system has automatic/manual functions, with automatic mode and one click start of flaw detection, without the need for personnel intervention.
