From June 22 to 25, 2026, the Far East New Nondestructive Testing Technology Conference was grandly held in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. As a benchmark event in China’s nondestructive testing industry, the conference gathered more than 3,000 top experts, scholars, researchers and enterprise representatives from over 20 countries and regions across the globe. A total of 22 professional academic sub-forums were set up, covering cutting-edge directions across the entire industrial chain including electromagnetic testing, ultrasonic testing, digital radiography, AI-enabled nondestructive testing, hydrogen energy equipment inspection, rail transit inspection and more.

    Integrating diverse segments such as professional equipment exhibitions and intelligent inspection on-site competitions, the conference serves as a docking platform for the R&D of forward-looking technologies and the industrial application of domestically developed equipment. Invited to attend the event, Nantong Youlian showcased its full range of intelligent ultrasonic testing equipment at the exhibition.

    Centered on the theme of "Advancing High-Quality Manufacturing Development with Advanced Nondestructive Testing Technologies", the 2026 Far East New Nondestructive Testing Technology Conference launched a distinctive innovative technology exchange event named "5 Hours of Witnessing Miracles". Hosted by Zhejiang Academy of Special Equipment Science, the event consists of two core segments: the Zhijiang Excellence Cup Intelligent Inspection Challenge and the Conference on Scientific & Technological R&D and Application Achievements.    The signature challenge competition of the conference attracted numerous top instrument manufacturers and solution teams from across the country. Nantong UNION took an in-depth part in the contest. The independently developed UNIBOT-T TOFD ultrasonic inspection crawler was entered in the hotly contested wall-climbing robot challenge.

    Benefiting from a full suite of self-developed technological achievements, including a highly integrated lightweight body design, the industry-first pure vision-based AI path planning and automatic recognition algorithm, as well as AI-assisted defect identification technology, our team stood out after multiple rounds of on-site demonstrations and comprehensive expert reviews. Nantong UNION was honored with the Best Intelligence Award in this challenge, fully demonstrating the comprehensive strength of domestically produced intelligent NDT equipment and cutting-edge technologies.
