From October 28th to October 31st, 2025, the "2025 National Industry Vocational Skills Competition -17th National Engineering Construction System Vocational Skills Competition" was successfully held in Hangzhou, co hosted by the China Engineering Construction Welding Association and the China Employment Training Technical Guidance Center, and organized by Xizi Clean Energy Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

    Nantong UNION Digital Technology Development Co., Ltd., as the technical and equipment support unit for the non-destructive testing skills competition of this competition, has formed a professional technical support team for the competition, providing high-quality conventional ultrasonic instruments and TOFD and phased array detection instruments representing advanced ultrasonic testing technology, providing strong guarantees for the successful holding of this competition.

    This competition is a grand event of industry skills competition held against the backdrop of the significant achievements of the national "14th Five Year Plan" and the upcoming "15th Five Year Plan".

    The National Engineering Construction System Vocational Skills Competition "is a comprehensive competition organized by the China Engineering Construction Welding Association since 1993, including manual welding, robot welding, additive manufacturing, non-destructive testing, stamping workers, etc. It is the earliest national level competition jointly hosted by industry professional associations and relevant government departments in China. Nantong Youlian is a technical and equipment support unit for the non-destructive testing competition of the National Engineering Construction System Vocational Skills Competition for four consecutive years.
     This competition brought together 20 teams of non-destructive testing personnel and 17 teams of cold sheet metal workers from across the country, with over a hundred top skilled players from the industry gathered together. They showcased their superb skills and competed for medals on the field, while also presenting a high-level skill display and exchange feast for the industry.

Player Competition Highlights

   After 2 days of intense competition, Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd., Dongfang Electric (Guangzhou) Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd., China Construction Installation Group Co., Ltd., CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Chuanyang Co., Ltd., Guangdong Special Equipment Testing and Research Institute Zhongshan Testing Institute, and CNNC Huachen Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. won the group award for non-destructive testing personnel; Liu Kai from Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd., Ling Guoliang from Dongfang Electric (Guangzhou) Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd., and Yan Liuqing from Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. respectively won the first, second, and third place in non-destructive testing. The contestants of the competition have demonstrated the spirit of craftsmanship with exquisite non-destructive testing skills, and have written new heights of industry skills with their strength and ingenuity.
